Ray Gilbert in race for Brunswick County School Board

Ray Gilbert is back in the race for the Brunswick County School Board. He lost his bid for re-election in the May 6 Republican primaries. He had taken a public hit when a woman filed a restraining order against him, claiming he threatened her. The incident led a fellow school board member to call for his resignation. Last week Gilbert switched to the Libertarian party and will be on the ballot in the November elections. He is the only Libertarian school board candidate in the entire state.
