Rough weather causes repairs in downtown Wilmington

Repairs were underway early Monday morning after a weekend storm hit downtown Wilmington. Repairmen were out replacing street signs ripped from the ground by high winds. Crews covered several windows at Cape Fear Community College that were shattered during the storm. At least nine windows and six street signs were damaged by the severe weather early Saturday morning. All the signs have now been replaced and windows have been covered until they can be repaired.
