School bus accident sends one to hospital

BRUNSWICK COUNTY -- A school bus accident in Brunswick County school sent one person to the hospital. It happened just before eight o'clock this morning, near the intersection of Holden Beach Road and High Hill Drive. The bus was heading to supply elementary school, when it got rear-ended. We're told the sun's glare made it hard for the driver of the car to see. One person in the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. All of the students were fine and the bus was able to deliver them to school safe and sound.

PARENTS WERE NOT NOTIFIED THAT THERE CHILDREN HAD BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT UNTIL I (PARENT) SAW THE BUS DREIVER AT WAL-MART WITH A NECK BRACE ON AND SHE INFORMED ME OF THE EVENT. I WENT DIRECTLY TO THE SCHOOL AND COMPLAINED AND THEN AN AUTOMATED CALL WAS SENT. IS IT JUST ME OR WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW IF YOUR CHILD HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT WHETHER THEY THINK THEY ARE NOT HURT OR NOT?
BCS bus driver lets fight go on with out trying to stop it. This driver needs to be Fired.
No, about 10 people went to the hospital. They trickled in all day. None were hurt. I was there.
