School bus hit from behind

A New Hanover County school bus was involved in a traffic crash this afternoon. The bus was rear-ended by a white sedan, when it stopped to drop kids off at the 400 block of Racine Drive. No injuries were reported, but the accident did hold up traffic while cleanup crews cleared the roadway. No word as to whether the driver of the car will be charged.

I'm willing to wager she was deep in a cell phone conversation!!!
Text message anyone?
What freakin moron follows a school bus so close that they hit the bright yellow bird with flashing lights and ultra loud kids in the behind. I hope the insurance company makes you srub ALL the school buses in the county before they fix your car.
Drivers in Wilmington to answer your question. And by all means, charge the driver with "Following to close to avoid an accident". It's a common charge, no time for "No word on if any charges were filed". That should have been done by the officer at the scene of the accident. DUH!
They were probably on a cell phone!
