WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- UNC Wilmington said goodbye to 1,900 students and released them into the real world this weekend, much to the delight of friends and family. The campus celebrated its 79th commencement with ceremonies on Friday and Saturday.

The Class of 2010 enters a job market and economy that is still sputtering - but even for those that don't have jobs lined up, they're still hopeful they'll find what they're looking for.

“I’m hoping for a bio research job for the next year,” said biology major Gina DiFeterica. “Then hopefully to PA school.”

Anthony Police and his theatre major friends have one goal in mind, “I pretty much can speak for all of us. We all want to win an Oscar, that’s for sure.”

are the graduates ready for the real world. After four or five years of being coddled and indoctrinated by the liberal professors, I somehow doubt the majority of those graduating are ready.

Here's some advice: No, it's not all about you regardless of what your T-shirt says. Remove the multiple earrings, noserings, and studs, cover the tats, and speak without using words such as "like" and "you know".

Don't expect to make as much money as your parents do now. And last, but not all...success ONLY comes before work in the dictionary
