The 67th Annual Azalea Festival continued as the queen toured Wilmington today. Queen Azalea Kirsten Haglund got the royal treatment at Pine Valley Elementary this morning complete with smiles, flowers and hugs from students. Some even showed her their best bow. Full story...

The Battleship North Carolina got another big donation to help it capital campaign to repair the ship's hull and preserve the state's WWII Memorial for generations to come. The Wells Fargo Foundation today announced a $250,000 contribution to the Battleship. Full story...
