New Name for Museum Lecture Series

The Museum of Coastal Carolina has renamed its Evening Lecture Series in memory of the late Bruce Porter. Along with Museum Founder Stuart Ingram, Mr. Porter was instrumental in starting the lecture series. He passionately and tenaciously sought out expert speakers on topics of interests to him, local residents, and visitors. Bruce Porter was a lifelong learner and held lifelong friendships with his fellow West Point graduates. He was well-traveled and loved sailing and boating. With memorial gifts from his family and friends, the Museum purchased a public address system for the Museum lecture hall. Full story...
