Brunswick County Sheriff's deputies are still searching for five suspects wanted in Operation Christmas Crackdown. The early-morning round-up yesterday landed 29 people in jail.

Police hope to hook the person who broke in and stole 30 fishing reels from a Wilmington business.
The thefts happened around 5:50 a.m., November 20 at Tex's Tackle and Bait at 215 Old Eastwood Road.

Brunswick County Sheriff's detectives are looking for help finding a fugitive. Kenneth Ross Jessup, 45, is wanted for one count of felony worthless check, absconding a felony indictment for a similar charge and a contempt citation from court.
