Two student athletes at Trask High School in Rocky Point signed Wednesday to play college basketball.
Edward Lewis signed with Wingate University while Kimani Hill will play at Lenior Community College in Kinston.

Fifth-ranked UNC Chapel Hill banged out 10 hits, including five for extra bases, as the Tar Heels topped No. 26 UNC Wilmington, 8-1, in college baseball action Tuesday before a standing-room only crowd of 3,608, a Brooks Field record.
The Tar Heels snapped a two-game skid and improved to 18-4, while the Seahawks, who had their own two-game winning streak halted, fell to 17-4.
