Senator Goolsby challenges you to Step Up For Soldiers

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) - "The Step Up For Soldiers / Packages From Home" project we're co-sponsoring with The Big Talker FM wraps up Friday morning.

Chad Adams will be live at the National Guard Armory on Carolina Beach Road from 6 am to 10 am.

You can drop by there to make a donation or drop off items for our troops.

The first $1,000 dollars donated will also be matched by incoming State Senator Tom Goolsby.

Nice for all

Wouldn't have been nice if a few other people that live in our area would have done the same as Senator Goolsby. There are soliders that don't get anything from home. What a nice way to say "Thank you"..to them for all they do.
Mr. Saffo.. PPD, Zimmers, Camerons to mention a few.. a small gift goes a very long way..
