North Carolina Senator Kay Hagan recommended two members of our legal community for some of the state's top federal positions.
New Hanover and Pender County District Attorney Ben David is one of three people being recommended for the US Attorney for the eastern district of North Carolina.
She also recommended New Hanover and Pender Judge Allen Cobb to serve as the US District Court Judge.
The recommendations were sent to President Obama, who will make the final selection.
