Sex offenders banned from Pender parks

Registered sex offenders are no longer allowed in Pender County parks.

The Pender County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously last night in favor of the ban.

There are currently 76 sex offenders registered in Pender County.

brunswick county employs them! i recognized a man while browsing the registry that did some work near my home and frequents a store in my neighborhood while wearing clothing that identifies him as a county employee. the store is less than a mile from a school. the work he did was less than a half mile from a public park. i was appalled!!!!!!!!!
