People were fuming when gas prices spiked after Hurricane Ike. It is pay back time. The owners of six North Carolina gas stations will refund thousands of dollars for price gouging. The attorney general said owners of Circle B and Big D gas stations in Fayetteville, Murphy, Marble and Hayesville have agreed to repay customers who bought gas at inflated prices during Ike in September. More than 3,700 price gouging complaints were filed with the state that month, and more than a dozen subpoenas were issued. More settlements may still be coming.

Is it really price gouging? I thought when the oil company's did it, they call it supply and demand. I guess the little guys can't make that claim.. I wish now they would look into the price gouging at airports.. You can no longer take a bottle of water through security and have to purchased it inside security.. When you pay 2.50+ for a .89 bottle of water, I think you could call that price gouging..
THATS ALL? What a joke!
