A Southport man is behind bars in connection to a string of break-ins. Shawn Brennan is charged with breaking and entering, robbery and possession of stolen goods.
Southport Police and Brunswick deputies linked Brennan to at least six break-ins along Howe Street in Southport.
Brennan is also believed to be responsible for setting a local law firm on fire after breaking in. Officers arrested him after he allegedly robbed a convenience store and police dogs followed his trail.
Brennan is in the Brunswick County Jail under $110,000 bond.
