Whiteville High School earned a spot in next week's 2A baseball state championship best of three series. The Wolfpack won the eastern title on Friday night on the road against Northwood High School. The Whiteville baseball team is just one win away from playing in next week's 2-A state championship series. Whiteville only needs one more victory against Northwood to advance. The UNCW baseball team wants to advance to the NCAA Baseball Tournament. To insure that the Hawks need to win the CAA Tournament.
