One of the young men who has made news because of his ties to Sen. R.C. Soles was back in court today. 18-year-old Allen Strickland pleaded guilty to fleeing and evading arrest. In August, Tabor City Police say Strickland led an officer on a high-speed chase after the officer spotted the unlicensed teen driving the Corvette Soles reportedly bought the boy. The officer said he saw Strickland run away from the car after crashing it near the South Carolina line. Strickland later reported the car missing.

Has he been

in custody all this time? If so, he probably has little if any time to serve with time allowed for good behaviour and time served while in custody.

If these were misdemeanors, they ought not impede his employment opportunities at Hardees.

Of course, he may be writing a "tell all" book for national publication which could have him on a national speaking tour.

NAH -- I saw his interviews on WWAY, he was barely articulate.

Hardees it is unless he starts a lawn care business.

You chumping Lawn Care Business Owners?

Well this beats about all I've read on here. I have a great friend that owns a lawn care business. Guess what? He also lives in a half-million dollar home and has about 80 rental properties. You know why? Because he's worked his tail off, lived within his means, and is a good business man!

Please don't stereotype, you are missing a lot out here in this great big world!

REALLY!!!

No need to make a dig on lawn care services.
As there are honest people making an honest living breaking thier back working in lawn care...and the ones that I know have NO criminal background whatsoever.

Be careful on how much you judge people by the industries they work in.

I gather

you can not read. And, I gather you can not relate to sarcasm.

If you followed this story, "Spyder" supported himself at one time by maintaining lawns in the community.

I believe that is called lawn service.

How is it critical of other lawn service providers to note he may have to return to his former employ?

Get a life.

I agree with you

I agree with you guest789654, my son used to work in the landscaping or "lawn care" business and he is not a thief or a lowlife! Is it better to be an out of work Lawyer or a doctor who is well on his way to a manslaughter charge in the death of Michael Jackson. NEVER Judge a person by the jobs they do! At least they are hard working!

For goodness sakes, stop

For goodness sakes, stop being so sensitive. This is partially what's wrong with America today, all the people want to whine and cry and get feelings hurt for NOTHING. Wake up and look at real issues and put your box of tissues away.

Another charge

Since tater admitted he was the driver, shouldn't he now be charged with filing a false report? He really isn't the sharpest knife in the kitchen.

Was he also convicted...

...of filing a false police report? If not, why not?
