On Friday, April 1st, New Hanover County Vice and Narcotics detectives wrapped up a month long investigation and arrested one subject for numerous heroin trafficking charges. Detectives arrested Johmar Monte Galloway, after completing a vehicle stop at the intersection of 12th and Wright Street. Galloway was found in possession of 100 bags of heroin and was taken into custody.

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit and members of local police departments conducted a Drug Round Up today that began at 0530 AM. The Operation has been ongoing since the beginning of January, targeting individuals selling prescription pills illegally.
