The Thalian Association is putting on 'It Takes Two: Take Two' in Wilmington. Performers will be singing duets, and ensemble pieces from some of your favorite movies. Child and adult performers paired up to learn from each other, and raise money for the Thalian Association's Children's Theater.

NC State Fair presents new fried food offerings

The vendors at this year's N.C. State Fair have found something new to drop in a fryer. The News & Observer of Raleigh reports the Ragin' Cajun booth will be selling deep-fried bananas Foster, the classic New Orleans dessert where bananas are sauteed in rum and brown sugar and served with vanilla ice cream.
