Want to know if a sex offender lives in your neighborhood? There's an app for that. Attorney General Roy Cooper announced Monday the free app developed by the NC Department of Justice is available. It's a tool for parents, as well as tech-savvy kids.

The U.S. Marshals Service says it has arrested a 35-year-old New Hampshire man in North Carolina who was sought on a warrant for violating parole and for failing to register as a sex offender.
