Wave Transit will be managed by a new company called Professional Transit Management.
In five days, Wave will no longer be contracted with First Transit.

Wave Transit has received millions of dollars for a new facility. It will serve as a transfer station for passengers and house administrative offices, but some passengers said they would rather see the money used elsewhere.

Along with adding stops the bus line is also considering changing its home base.
All these changes come with a price, a price that New Hanover County automobile drivers may have to pay.
