Republican congressional heavyweights are coming to North Carolina this week to campaign for Mitt Romney.
Romney's campaign said Monday that Arizona Sen. John McCain and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham will attend veteran-themed events Tuesday in Cary and Fayetteville. Graham will hold a similar event Tuesday evening in Wilmington.

The North Carolina Republican Party said Sen. John McCain will bring his presidential campaign to Wilmington Monday. McCain will hold a town hall meeting at Cape Fear Community College's Schwartz Center.

The Republican vice presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, is on an east coast road trip. She was in Florida yesterday and this morning. Palin will be holding a rally at East Carolina University in Greenville this evening.
