'Booze it & Lose it' gets an early start this weekend

videoLaw enforcement agencies didn't hesitate to kick off the "Booze it & Lose it" campaign early this holiday weekend. The Brunswick County Sheriff's Office set up the first check point of the campaign on US 74 near Leland late Friday night.

Irish family continues tradition of celebrating heritage

St. Patrick's Day is not just a day to wear green and drink beer. For many it's a day to celebrate their Irish heritage. Owners of the Irish store Sinead's Cottage on Carolina Beach Road in Wilmington say today is a celebration of where they come from.
