New Hanover County Commissioners unanimously approved a more than $14 million renourishment project for both Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. Part of the price tag is being funded at the federal and state level, something that commissioners say could soon come to an end. Full story...

It's the video gone viral that's amazing to some but scary for others. The fishing video taken just across the border in South Carolina shows a large bull shark suprisingly grabbing a fish off a line in the Intracoastal Waterway in Cherry Grove. That has many asking if sharks that big are in the Intracoastal Waterway here as well. Full story...
