The Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play 'Clybourne Park' previews this week at the Red Barn Studio in Wilmington for two weeks before moving to Thalian Hall. The two act play shows the struggle of a black family in the same house 50 years apart. Based on the classic 'A Raisin in the Sun' it is directed by Joy Gregory. Full story...

This weekend you have a chance to support the performing arts while watching some of the Cape Fear's most talented children and adults perform. The Thalian Association is putting on 'It Takes Two: Take Two' in Wilmington. Performers will be singing duets, and ensemble pieces from some of your favorite movies. Rising on Third Street in downtown Wilmington is the new Cape Fear Community College Humanities and Fine Arts Center. When complete it will seat between 1500 and 1600 people and bring world class performances and concerts to the Cape Fear region. The Thalian Association of Wilmington presents John Steinbeck's 'Of Mice and Men' this weekend only. The tale of two migrant farm workers in search of a homestead dream is being performed at historic Thalian Hall. Tom Briggs, Artistic Director of Thalian Association, says this production features a strong cast of nine men and one woman that bring the 1920's tale to life. Full story...
