As Titan America continues to try and put a cement plant in Castle Hayne, those against it met in Wrightsville Beach Wednesday night. NC Coastal Federation members are still fighting the proposal after six years saying the plant, which will burn more than 250,000 tons of coal a year, will discharge pollutants into the Northeast Cape Fear River. Women can help themselves feel more secure with the help of the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office.
