Teacher Appreciation Week a reminder to say thanks

This is the week to thank teachers for all their hard work. For Teacher Appreciation Week, some staff and volunteers took their time to visit every school in New Hanover County, just to say thanks. The Huntington Learning Center started hand delivering flowers and cakes to each school in New Hanover County. Teachers at Trask Middle School were pleasantly surprised. “We work with the teacher's on a continual basis, and we go into the schools, and the teachers are so gracious, and the teachers are so good to open up their doors that we just wanted to go ahead and say ‘thank you’,” said Sara Wallace of Huntington Learning Center. A total of 39 more schools will have treats delivered throughout the week.

Thanks to All Our Teachers

Thanks to all the Teachers for all their dedication. And Thanks to Coach Bloodworth for all you do for our kids. There are a lot of kids that look up to you for the help and support you provide for them. Some were to the point of life of giving up and you step in as their role model and to inform them that you 'don't quit' And because of that they become successful young men and women.
