This story certainly raises a different kind of domestic violence issue. Since we first aired this story last night, many of you have taken time to give us your thoughts on our website.

WWAY was the only Wilmington TV station to report on Megan Mantooth's suspension and criminal charge last month. When we did, there was a lot of criticism aimed at us for reporting the story and the victim for making the accusations.

In his January 2009 State of the City address, Mayor Bill Saffo told the city the convention center, "is the largest construction project in the region, and currently creating hundreds of desperately needed jobs." He went on to say 1,000 people would be involved in the construction, and 1,200 will work there. Really, Mr. Mayor?

You may have heard about the so-called Carmageddon in California over the weekend. The massive road project not only went off without a hitch, it finished well ahead of schedule.
