Thieves take 800 gallons of fuel from gas station

CHARLOTTE -- Thieves stole 800 gallons of gasoline from a Charlotte gas station, and surveillance cameras captured the crime on tape. WCNC-TV in Charlotte reports that the family-owned gas station lost $4,000 in gas. Surveillance video shows car after car pulling up to the pumps, filling up and then driving away. Police say it appears as if two men organized the incident. It took two hours to drain the premium pumps dry. Customers said the store had only been open about seven months. Probably their claim to the

Probably their claim to the insurance company no doubt. I wish it would happen more often just to the big guys though, not the mom and pops.

$4,000 worth of gas is not

$4,000 worth of gas is not 800 gallons. That would be $5.00 a gallon and Charlotte does not have gas that high. Maybe it was just "borrowed" and not stolen.LOL
