MYRTLE BEACH -- A third group is interested in buying the bankrupt Hard Rock theme park in South Carolina. The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reported that the new Coastal Entertainment LLC on Monday filed an objection to the proposed sale of the 55-acre theme park to FPI MB Entertainment LLC. Hard Rock Cafe International also objected to the sale, saying it wants to make sure the license to use its brand name doesn't automatically transfer to a new owner. FPI MB Entertainment wants to buy the park for $25 million and wants the sale approved quickly so the park can reopen by Memorial Day. The $400 million park opened in April and closed in September.

As soon as it reopens it will fall again. Look people the percentage of people that actually listen to classic rock, let alone go to a Theme Park in honer of it is very low, plus the rides suck. I gave it a chance when they opened. I don't like classic rock but enjoy rides and when I left I was extremely disappointed, so disappointed I told all my friends and family and I'm assuming that other people did they same. Auction off the rides to private bidders and build a Walmart.
