Music filled Saint Paul's Episcopal Church during a special Veteran's Day ceremony Wednesday. Thursday, more music rang out inside the church walls. This time it was the “Thursday Morning Music Club”. Thursday's concert was the first of the year; a jazz band complete with a saxophone, clarinet, flute, and electric guitar. Club president Patty Head said, "A lot of us have been piano teachers, church organists, or singers. You can hear everything from a flute solo program this year, to a lecture about vladama harvest. The Wilmington Girls Choir is going sing for our December meeting, which will be at the Cape Fear Country Club." The “Thursday Morning Music Club” is one of the oldest clubs in Wilmington, dating back to the 1920's. Many of the club's other shows will feature classical music.
