The North Carolina Department of Transportation will close the intersection of Lendire Road (Non-system) and Ogden Business Lane (Non-system) both directions beginning Monday April 10, 2017 at 6:00am and continue through Friday September 29, 2017 at 5:00pm
DETOUR: Torchwood Blvd. (SR-2717) to Beacon Drive (SR-2718) to Lendire Road. No travel lanes will be open at the intersection of Lendire Road and Ogden Business Lane.
The NCDOT will realign the intersection of Lendire Road and Ogden Business Lane which will connect to the existing intersection at Middle Sound Loop Road and Market Street. This work is part of the Military Cutoff Extension Project which will provide access to Military Cutoff Extension and improve access to Market Street (US-17 Business).
The NCDOT reminds motorists to STAY ALERT, encourages motorists to use alternate routes when possible during this period, drive with caution, obey the posted speed limits, and allow extra travel time.

Beginning Tuesday, April 15, 2014 SR-2169 Fredrickson Road will be permanently closed to thru traffic due to the construction of the Wilmington Bypass-R2633BB. Access to Fredrickson Road will be made using Sutton Lake Road (SR-2145).
