In this week's Troubleshooters Report, an update on a story WWAY first brought you in December. Betty and Alton Axsom bought a brand new, six thousand dollar heating and air unit from Sears for their home in Holden Beach. But it was not installed properly and never performed as it was supposed to. The Axsom's also had huge heating bills because the system was not running efficiently. They tried and tried to get Sears to honor the warranty on the system, but did not have any luck until we got involved. We are pleased to announce Sears has followed through on its promise to us. Sears has just installed a brand new system for the Axsom’s, and has agreed to reimburse the couple for their excessive power bills.
