Two arrests made in connection with robbery

New Hanover County detectives have made two arrests in connection with a liquor store robbery. Danielle Elise Chapman and Jacob Robert Stiers, both of Wilmington, are charged with breaking and entering, felony larceny and conspiracy. Investigators say the couple robbed the ABC Store on South College Road Tuesday morning. The clerk was inside the store at the time and gave the 911 center the suspects' descriptions, which led to their arrests. Chapman and Stiers are out of jail after posting bond.

Out on bond? Isn't this the samething those clowns were out on, when they shot and killed Eve Carson (the UNC student)? Maybe these two losers will do the same. Shame on our judicial system for allowing these crooks any type of bail.

Why shame on the judicial system? NC Law allows bond for almost all defendants. The main purpose of bond is to ensure the defendant shows up in court, not as punishment (after all, they are presumed innocent) or to prevent them from committing future crimes. If you don't like it, then complain to the NC General Assembly. They write the laws that the "judicial system" is required to follow.
