Two Fort Bragg soldiers killed in I-95 wreck

READ MORE:
ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (AP) -- Two Fort Bragg soldiers have been killed in a traffic accident on Interstate 95 near the Nash-Wilson county line. The state Highway Patrol says the driver ran off the right side of the northbound lanes and overcompensated, causing their vehicle to skid and overturn several times. The accident occurred around 1 a.m. about three miles south of exit 127. Two of the passengers were ejected from the Jeep Wrangler and landed in the road, where they were hit by oncoming traffic. Neither victim was the driver. Two passengers are listed in critical condition at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. A third passenger was taken to Wilson Medical Center. A state trooper says the identities of the victims have not been released because next of kin have not been notified.
