On Thursday, February 4, 2010 Detectives with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Vice & Narcotic Unit arrested two illegal immigrants and charged them with numerous narcotic violations. The six-week investigation concluded during a traffic stop at Rogersville Road and Eastwood Road. Detectives seized 10 ounces of cocaine, which has a street value of over $28,000.
Cirino Flores Mendoza, 36 of Riegelwood, is charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and no operator’s license.
Domingo Teran Flores, 34 of Riegelwood, is charged two counts of trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Upon the completion of an immigration alien inquiry, both men were found to be in the United States illegally. They are being held in the New Hanover County Detention Facility under a $500,000 secured bond each in addition to an Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) Detainer.

so of course, we'll start with a public defender at tax payer's expense.
Then a nice stay at some prisoner friendly facility where they can pursue their education, at tax payer's expense.
Finally, they will be transported to the Border and turned over to authorities from their native land -- unless -- the willy nilleys in Washington concoct some plan to allow illegals to stay under some amnesty program -- shades of Jimmy Carter when he allowed the Boat People from Cuba to land. Why not just cut to the quick and send them home.

Sheriffs dept bust two illegals for trafficking
It's nice to see the New Hanover co Sheriffs Dept out there arresting drug traffickers. These people are causing so much of our crime its sickening. I've noticed a lot of big trafficking arrests lately and I for one am very happy. It seems the new Sheriff (McMahon) has got his narcs working Overtime. Good job.
