Two killed when hit by car in Fayetteville parking lot

FAYETTEVILLE (AP) -- Police in Fayetteville say two people were killed when they were struck by a car that went out of control in a shopping center parking lot. The incident occurred at about 12:45 p.m. outside a Wal-Mart. Cumberland County Emergency Operations Center confirms that the two people died after being hit.
