Brunswick County detectives need your help finding two robbery suspects.
Around 6:30 Wednesday night, two men wearing orange ski masks walked into Smith's Grocery and Hardware in Holden Beach. One was carrying a handgun; the other also had a weapon.
The men grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and walked away.
The suspects were both wearing all black. One is about 6’ tall about 140 to 150 pounds. The other, about 5’ 8” weighing about 130 pounds.

There is no Smith's Grocery in Holden Beach. I am sure this is a mistake in the name of the area in which the store is located! Often times, Holden Beach is named as the jurisdiction of a crime, when the news media doesn't understand that the jurisdiction of Holden Beach does not go on the north side of the Intracoastal Waterway.

You are not 100% accurate because there are some areas north of the intercoastal that is under the jurisdiction of the Holden Beach police dept. Smith's is off Hwy 130 by Woody's so it has a mailing zip code of Holden Beach. That is why they are saying it's in Holden Beach.
