Wrightsville Beach Police need your help. Detectives are looking for two suspects, the Beach Bag Bandits, wanted for stealing beach bags from Wrightsville Beach. Police report that the two suspects went up and down Wrightsville Beach this weekend stealing beach bags. The first suspect is a white man between the ages of 19 and 24. He drives a white Ford Taurus with a sun roof. The second suspect is a while man with blonde, curly hair and has possible injuries to his face. Lifeguards warn beachgoers to keep valuables in a safe place, and to not leave beach gear unattended. "You can't put them in front of a stand and hope that the lifeguard is going to watch them. Our job is to watch the water and swimmers. You can't guard someone's belongings for them, so you definitely want to keep and eye on your own things," said Jon Mauney of Wrightsville Beach Ocean Rescue. The bandits are also suspected of having stolen a debit card and used it in another town. If you know anything about these men call the Wrightsville Beach Police Department at 910-256-7945.
