CHAPEL HILL -- The University of North Carolina Board of Governors has elected the first woman in its history to lead the university system board. Hannah D. The board said that government relations consultant Peter Hans of Raleigh was elected vice chairman and Roper Mayor Estelle "Bunny" Sanders was re-elected secretary.
