UNCW tea party

On UNCW’s campus Wednesday, the college republicans spent most of the afternoon handing out pamphlets and information on what they say is wasteful spending. A spokesperson said the recent Wilmington City Council trip to the nation's capitol is one example of money that was not well spent. That was $19,000 in taxpayer money. The group hopes the small demonstrations around the state will force all elected officials to make better decisions with taxpayer money. “We’re a small group, I’m hoping that the people in Washington will see every little group that's going on and we'll have the big impact. And they'll see that they're upset about what's going on and we're upset that they're spending our tax dollars the way they're spending them,” said UNCW senior Tyler Cralley.

Conservatives on Campus

College campuses across America overwhelmingly teach the students a liberal perspective on government. It seems most college professors are liberals. Liberal radicals of the 60's & 70's started their protests on campus. So, it is balanced and hopeful to see the conservative side also represented on college campus.

UNCW teaparty..

GREAT JOB!!! as Ronald Regan stated.."Evil triumphs when good men do nothing." See you at the Coastal Conservative Conference, May 1st & 2nd.

UNCW Tea Party

Good for them! A lot of us are disgusted with all the wasteful spending of the politicians in general, and their disregard of the feelings of their constituents.

Tea Party

I missed the story showing the City of Wilmington's citizens' Tea Party. You cover a small demonstration at UNCW but do not cover the Tea Party at College Rd and Oleander. So we aren't to call "BIAS" since you covered a little part of the story but didn't use good journalistic judgement to cover the "story". Well once again, Boo to you!!!!!!

It's on their website
