A passenger who went into shock on board a commercial flight forced pilots to make an emergency landing at ILM Thursday night. The Air Transit flight from Nova Scotia was bound for Cuba when the passenger went into shock and passed out. According to airport personnel, all flight staff is trained in first aid, capable of dealing with medical situations while on board until it is safe to land. No word yet as to when the 40-year-old passenger plans to fly back, but he remains in stable condition.
