ยป e-mail this story | discuss | print  There is new information tonight in the May 8 murder of James Murdock in Calabash. Brunswick County detectives have arrested and charged Mathew Baber and Norman Simmons for Murdock's murder. Detectives say around 30 shots were fired from an assault rifle. The fatal bullet hit Murdock in the abdomen. Officials say this was not a random incident but they're not discussing a motive right now. The two suspects are being held without bond.

I feel sorry for mordock's parents. I AM A FIRM BELIEVER IN AN EYE FOR AN EYE. I HOPE JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED!!!!!! NOBODY HAS THE RIGHT TO SNUFF OUT A LIFE AND ALL THAT DO SO SHOULD BE PUNISHED TO THE FULL EXTENT OF THE LAW!!!!!!THERE IS NO REASON FOR ANYONE TO DO THIS. I HOPE IT HAUNTS THEM FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES. I HOPE THEY SEE WHAT THEY DID OVER AND OVER EVERYTIME THEY CLOSE THEIR EYES. As someone who has lost someone extremely close to them and also knowing Jimmy I am very happy that justice will be served. People think that violence can solve the problem when in reality it just makes things worse. There is not a problem in the world that is worth taking someone's life. Matt and Elliot think that they are tough and "bad" taking Jimmy out like that. . . whatever they will get what they deserve and much more. There is no one in the world that knows more than the Lord and he will reap his vengeance on them.
