About Me

I'm the Assignment Manager at WWAY, which means I help decide which stories and events we cover each day. I answer a lot of telephone calls, read a lot of news stories, ask lots of questions, and generally juggle many different tasks every day.

I'm originally from southern Virginia, but I lived in many different states and countries, before settling in beautiful coastal North Carolina four years ago. I graduated from Brown with an English degree, and I have a Masters in Creative Writing. I love to read (especially The New Yorker), travel, run, cook (Thai is my specialty), surf, write, and just generally enjoy life. I live in Carolina Beach with my dog Lucy, who loves to play catch in the waves.
