About Me

Living in Southwestern, PA for most of her life, Christina grew up in a climate with four distinct seasons. Trading crisp autumns and cold winters for a beautiful beach town, Christina was happy to join the WWAY News and Weather team in September of 2012. She believes weather affects everyone, everyday—and that’s important. She takes pride in communicating this weather to her viewers and potentially protecting viewer lives.

Christina attended college close to home at The Pennsylvania State University and earned her Bachelor of Sciences in Meteorology. She actively participated in Campus Weather Service, a student run organization at Penn State. Christina also interned at WTAE, an ABC affiliate in Pittsburgh, for two consecutive summers.

When she isn’t forecasting or covering stories, Christina enjoys spending time with her friends and family, watching her hometown Pittsburgh Steelers, and going for a long run. Christina also loves animals and hopes to one day own her very own pet!
