About Me

Douglas Clark is the Weekend Anchor and a General Assignment Reporter for WWAY NewsChannel 3.

A native of New Jersey, Doug relocated to Wilmington last year. But he's no stranger to North Carolina, having graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Business. That's where he became interested in broadcast journalism, volunteering at the campus TV station. He was a reporter and anchor for the university's weekly news broadcast. After finding out how much he enjoyed hunting down news stories, he decided to pursue a career in broadcasting.

When he's not working, you can find Doug on the golf course or tennis court. He also enjoys traveling. He's been to nearly every major U.S. city and European country. He spent a summer in London between his Sophomore and Junior years, which earned him credit toward his business degree. One of the more interesting trips he's taken was to Morocco. He hopes to one day visit Greece and Hawaii.

Doug's parents still reside in New Jersey. He has one younger brother, who is currently attending college.
