About Me

Laura Seel shows internships pay off. Laura interned at WWAY during the summer of 2010, and showed a strong interest in producing. When a producing job came open, her predecessor recommended her, and Laura got the job, joining the WWAY team just after Christmas.

A native of Ohio, Laura moved to the Tar Heel State when she was eight and grew up in Summerfield near Greensboro. She attended the University of Georgia, where she was a member of Delta Gamma sorority and graduated with a degree in Broadcast News.

Laura lives at Carolina Beach, where she loves being close to the surf and sand. In her free time, she enjoys shopping and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
