About Me

I am so excited to be in my new seaside home. I joined WWAY Newschannel 3 in September 2007 as a general assignment reporter.

I'm a South Florida native who feels right at home on the coast. I was bitten by the broadcast bug as a little girl when I was asked to do the morning announcements over the loud speaker in elementary school. Ever since, I knew I wanted to pursue a career where I could talk to the masses.

I graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Telecommunications-News with a minor in Sociology. During my time at UF, I had the opportunity to report and anchor for the radio station on campus. I got my first taste of television broadcasting by reporting for the college-run station WUFT News.

One of my best experiences was an internship with WKMG-CBS Local 6 in Orlando. Before making my way to Wilmington, I worked as an assignment editor for the ABC station in Gainesville, Florida WCJB- TV 20 News.

When I'm not working, you can find me watching movies, dancing, cheering on my favorite team. Go Gators!!!

Even though I'm happy to still be in the south, I miss my mother and dog, Wishbone back home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
