About Me

I'm excited to be working on the beautiful Carolina coast. I joined the WWAY news team as a general assignment reporter in June 2007.

I graduated from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina with a degree in Broadcast Communications and a minor in Spanish. During my time at Elon, I reported and anchored for its television news production, Phoenix14News. I studied abroad in Costa Rica and Ireland.

During my senior year at Elon, I was honored to be named the number one college news anchor in the nation by the Broadcast Education Association. I also received a William Randolph Hearst Award for hard news reporting, and am a member of the Radio-Television News Directors
Association.

While in college I interned with the investigative reporting department at WCAU-TV in Philadelphia and WMGM-TV in South Jersey.

I'm from suburban Philadelphia. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach and playing golf.
