These citizens rights have been violated as tax-payers.
Not only are they being denied mail delivery, but the
road they live on is not state maintained. Understandably
the state can't be responsible for a driveway on personal
property, but there are several homes on this road with elderly
people who need access to services such as home health, repairs &
maintenance, emergency(EMS, FIRE), parcel delivery, etc. All
these vehicles have a tough time getting through on this road.
If people who don't have children pay a portion of their taxes
toward schools, why shouldn't some of the taxes these people
pay go toward getting them a road?
