WILMINGTON,NC (WWAY) – James Madison is the only team in the CAA with a better record than UNC Wilmington. Just last week JMU beat UNCW by two points in Harrisonburg, Virginia. UNCW would like nothing better than to face James Madison in the CAA finals on Sunday afternoon in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. In fact this will be the first year Upper Marlboro has served as tournament host. “We’re packed for five days,” says UNCW head coach Cynthia Cooper-Dyke. “We’re going up there to win one game in a row three times. We start on Friday, but we won’t know until Thursday who we play, but it will either be Drexel or Towson. We don’t have anything to lose. Nobody expected us to be here. We deserve to be where we are. We played hard all season long.”

Update: UNCW will play Drexel on Friday at 7:30. Drexel beat Towson on Thursday.
